Demonstration of Lower Value – DLV

The Exception to DLV

The only exception to DLV being negative is if you say a DLV statement that shows that you really don’t care and you aren’t trying to impress anyone. For instance, if you’re with a girl and you say: “Oh I’m really bad at eating with chopsticks” then although this it’s a DLV, it shows that you aren’t trying to impress her. By actively not trying to impress her, you gain value in her eyes. It’s counter-intuitive in the way that it works, but sometimes by trying not to impress someone, you end up impressing them. It’s like the Simpsons said: “If you don’t care if you’re cool, then you’re cool. ”

As a general rule, displaying lower value is not a good thing. So if you catch yourself putting yourself down from time to time, know that you’re only reducing any possible attraction. Instead, I suggest you adopt a slightly more confident attitude and watch the results!

I wish you would expand or just offer some advice on one specific DLV topic.
my biggest DLV is “being the nice guy”

I have a lot of friends(girls), that always tell me “you are such a good guy, you will find that someone (SOMEDAY), and they will really appreciate who you are”

I don’t actually think I do anything that builds that reputation, other than common chivalry (opening doors, escorting them to their cars, etc)
Most of my good qualities are listed in other articles as positives, especially since I AM rich and famous (kidding)

What causes a woman to see “nice guy”?
How nice is “too nice”?
How do you counter “too nice”?

I see that nobody answered your question…. neither do I, but i do recognise myself in that too nice ‘girl’ in my case.

I think that too nice is negative dlv, because people pleasers like that, seem to be submissive.
And attractiveness is explained as being successfull.

Submissivness is imo:

self depreciating, trying to impress people, perform too many favors, not standing up for themselves, being ignorant (what people take you for, they will always try to fool you), caring about what others think (people tend to think that you like to please them because you’re afraid of rejection), poor social awareness….

Hope this helps you to understand a little bit.

As i said already, i have the same issue but i’m working on it.
